PERSONAL WATERCRAFT (JET SKIING)

At Mar de Cristal TEAM unlimited offer training on these exhilarating craft. Often perceived in the press as dangerous and noisy they are non-the less the most sought after of waterspouts. TEAM unlimited are pleased to announce that they are the first operation in Mainland Spain to offer RYA tuition for Jet skiing.

EQUIPMENT

TEAM unlimited have three brand new Yamaha Waverunner XL700 machines. They are three seater in-line jet skis and are considered amongst the best for Training due to their inherent stability. Buoyancy aids are compulsory and provided free of charge, wetsuits though rarely required are available for rent. Participants should bring shoes for protection (old trainers are excellent) and clothing that will offer protection from sun and wind. PLEASE NOTE: You must be 16 years old to drive a Jet Ski in Spain.

COURSES

Two types of course are available. The first is a one-hour introduction to Jet Skiing. Students are given a thorough shore side briefing before structured training in a controlled safe environment is embarked upon. The aim of the course is to safely demonstrate the potential of these exciting craft. (Max 6 people per hour, minimum 4) 2 persons per jet ski with one instructor and safety/coaching boat.

The second course is the RYA Personal watercraft licence course. This one-day course gives a thorough, theoretical and practical background to the safe operation of a Jet Ski. Successful students receive an RYA licence and PWC handbook. Students must present a photograph for the licence. (Max 6 persons, minimum 4) Water-skiing Towing for experienced skiers is available from qualified powerboat drivers in our 200hp ski boat. Cost is 4000pts for 10mins. (minimum 2 persons) Boat excursions. 5 passengers are able to enjoy a fast ride to Sardine Island or beyond. On our water-ski boat an exhilarating Prices vary depending on numbers and destination/duration. Minimum charge is 10000pts.

DIVING

Adventure Divers provide a full range of PADI courses from Introductory through to Open Water and Advanced Open Water. Children too can experience the Bubblemakers Course in the safe confines of the Las Lomas Pool. For qualified divers both shore and boat dives are offered. There are a variety of dive sites from protected marine reserves to wreck dives.
